ITEM DESCRIPTION- Deluxe Occupancy Control

Deluxe Occupancy Control uses a monitor with a pressure sensitive chair or bed pad to monitor the resident. Occupancy monitors are more secure than Mobility Monitors and have many additional features. The monitor is interchangable with either pad. Monitors and pads are sold separately to best serve your needs.

EASY TO USE AND TRANSFER FROM BED OR CHAIR

The Deluxe Occupancy Control is mounted to the bed using industrial grade Velcro patches (2 supplied) or attached to the bed rail with a Velcro/fabric loop. A 17" x 23" (soft and thin) pressure pad is placed below the resident, under the bottom sheet, and connected to the Control with a 6 foot cord. When the resident moves off of the pad a loud, audible alarm is initiated along with an alarm light and your existing nurse-call system (if connected).

For use in a chair, the Control is fastened to the chair with the Velcro patches. An 11" x 13" naugahyde cushion is placed below the resident and connected to the control. The soft foam rubber adds comfort and the internal pressure sensor activates an alarm when the resident attempts to get up.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE PADS PROVIDE LONG IN-SERVICE

Both Bed and Chair Pressure Pads provide long in-service life, usually greater than 180 days and reducing system operating costs. The pad's thin design and large coverage area (17" x 23") reduce the need for an alarm delay, allowing your staff to react more quickly to a problem. It has a long in-service life (180 days) while adding comfort. With 1 inch of foam rubber and an attractive naugahyde cover this sensor pad is top quality and very affordable.
